Contemporary red cloth, gilt lettering at spine. A very uncommon collection of an English movie and entertainment magazine. Front wrapper illustrations include black and white stills from such films as So Well Remembered with John Mills and Martha Scott, The Perils of Pauline with Betty Hutton and John Lund, Dear Ruth with William Holden, Moss Rose, Dancing with Crime, For Whom the Bell Tolls with Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman, Master of Bankdam, This Gun for Hire with Alan Ladd, Ivy with Joan Fontaine, Desert Fury, Woman in the Hall, It Always Rains on Sunday, Build My Gallows High with Robert Mitchum and Jane Greer, and others. Rear wrappers with ads for other famous films including Gone With the Wind. Issues include photographic stills from films and some other color advertising. Very Good plus, some issues with moderate wear to wraps, #613 Jassy cover with ink notation and erasure, else attractive collection.
