Algiers set story of an impoverished Arab aristocrat and of his daughter’s marriage to a "dervish,” written in a modern poetic-like prose by Russian-born writer best known for his pulp stories of crime, mystery and adventure. Very Good but for inner hinges cracked to show webbing and ownership inscription to front free endpaper, with modest edge wear, closed tears and creasing to top spine end, light soiling and spine faded.
