Author was best known for his work for the Dramatic Publishing Company, of which he was president from 1970-1973, and during which he wrote adaptations for “To Kill a Mockingbird”, “Cheaper By the Dozen”, “The Mouse That Roared”, “Up the Down Staircase”, “Fame”, “Black Elk Speaks” and many more. He also attracted to the company writers including C. P. Taylor, Timberlake Wertenbaker, Arthur Miller, Roald Dahl and E. B. White. Octavo, in original black and white illustrated wraps. Very Good plus, with only light stain to rear wrap, staples rusted at spine, and “Peg” written small in blue ink to front wrap.
