Here he is adopted as mascot by the American battery and in spite of orders that would send him to the rear, 'sees the war through' and actually takes part in the fighting in the Argonne". Likely intended for young adults. Very Good firmly bound volume despite webbing showing at both inner hinges, in Very Good nicked and moderately soiled dustjacket.
