First Edition. J. Allen St. John dustjacket art. Wright's popular romance novel of the Ozarks. This copy with the very scarce publisher's additional "Greetings of the Season" illustrated dustjacket fitted over the trade jacket. The "Greetings" jacket features an illustration at front panel by St. John that differs from the trade jacket, with no additional print at spine or rear panel, and has blank "To" and "From" lines for gift givers. A very uncommon item thus. Near Fine in Very Good bright trade dustjacket with few edge nicks and short closed tears, and Very Good "Greetings" jacket with few shallow chips and closed tears, some spotting to spine, "100" written in crayon at front panel and the 'To' and 'From' filled in by original purchaser.
