Kazan. Indianapolis: Bobbs-Merrill Co., (1914).
First Edition. Gayle Hoskins dustjacket art and illustrations. Extremely uncommon title by Curwood to be found in original illustrated dustjacket. Basis for the 1921 black and white silent film featuring Jane Novak and Ben Deeley as well as the 1949 Columbia Pictures' talkie directed by Will Jason and starring Stephen Dunne and Lois Maxwell. Near Fine but for modest cocking, in Good dustjacket, four inch closed tear (and associated creases) to top rear panel, fairly shallow loss at spine ends and flap corners, edges with wear.
