Reprint Edition. New York City set contemporary novel of romance, comedy and intrigue based on the play by Selwyn, with great photographic scene at dustjacket from the theatrical production. Basis for the 1915 lost Jesse Lasky silent film directed by Frederick A. Thompson and starring Marshall Neilan and Florence Dagmar. The film is the earliest known appearance of Erich von Stroheim in a film. Near Fine in Very Good dustjacket, shallow chips at spine ends.
