True First Edition, and First Photoplay Edition illustrated with scenes from the Douglas Fairbanks Pictures feature starring Douglas Fairbanks and Marguerita De La Motte. An extremely uncommon edition of this classic of adventure fiction. Almost Near Fine, cloth with some signs of use, previous owner stamp at front pastedown, in Very Good dustjacket (which is a variant and presumed slightly later issue, with G&D boxed at spine and with different books listed at rear panel), some modest soiling to panels, few edge nicks, verso has been backed with thin brown paper, which does not in any way effect flexibility of jacket nor is it noticeable from the front.
