Two thousand native laborers from surrounding states. A young American whose official capacity was 'chaperon to a couple of mules' applies a simple 'home remedy' to the infected foot of a native laborer. He is at once dubbed the 'Doctor' and is forced into service and does everything from dentistry to obstetrics". Very Good, some spotty discoloration to cloth, in nearly Very Good dustjacket, chipped at spine ends.
