"The latest vest pocket guide for quick reference, containing over 350 formulas for mixing and serving individual drinks, and drinks in quantities, for receptions and parties. Including directions for stocking and conducting first-class hotel, club and public bars, together with a choice selection of toasts for all occasions". Lowe, who may have bar tended at the Hoffman House is presumed to have created the variant of the Gibson Cocktail in which bitters are replaced by three dashes of Angostura, with half the cognac and an addition of barspoon of gum. Very Good, some cloth wear at lower spine end.
