First Edition. A contemporary reviewer writes: "Six and Seven is a book of short stories, mainly about the financial difficulties of suburban couples. Presumably the snobbish Material of this kind of magazine story is ordered in advance by the advertisers, for while Miss Rea will tell you all about the interior decoration of her heroines' flats, she tells you nothing about their characters.
