Red leather over heavy boards. Gilt stamped lettering and embellishments to front cover. Collection of 20 professional quality photographs of famous sites from England in the late 19th century. The scenes capture the types of sites one would visit on holiday: cathedrals and other ancient architectural structures, markets, esplanades and beaches, including the famous Comer cliffs. Many scenes include large groups of holiday goers as well as many horse drawn carriages. The pictures are clear, crisp, and in very good condition with excellent composition. The front cover of this album is detached. The front cover is very rubbed, but the heavy boards that comprise the text block are tight.
