Found in the Encyclopedia of Science Fiction and Bleiler. Dixon, born in Huntsville, Texas, was an American author, animal rights activist and a member of the Americanization movement. In 1921 he founded the First Church for Animal Rights in Manhattan. Dixon was known to be a homosexual and lived much of his adult life with his partner Chester Snowden, who illustrated the jacket for this title. Near Fine in attractive almost Near Fine dustjacket, triangle clipped from lower front flap edge, presumably where the price was.
