Uncommon book of recipes for various necessities such as preserves, perfumery, ice creams, inks, dyes, etc. which seems rather preoccupied with alcohol production, including 25 recipes for Brandy (cherry, cognac, French, Peach, Rochelle, etc.), various beverages including Cottage Beer, Cream Beer, Ginger Beer, Mead, Spruce Beer, Pineapple-ade, Silver top, nine varieties of Cordials, Spirits for beverages, five variants of Holland Gin, seven variants of Rum (Jamaica, New England, St. Croix), eighteen different types of wine, and seven types of Whiskey (Apple, Bourbon, Irish, Monongahela, Scotch, Wheat). Very Good firmly bound volume, moderate shelf wear.
