Including directions for stocking and conducting first-class hotel, club and public bars, together with a choice selection of toasts for all occasions". Lowe, who may have bar tended at the Hoffman House is presumed to have created the variant of the Gibson Cocktail in which bitters are replaced by three dashes of Angostura, with half the cognac and an addition of barspoon of gum. This revised Canadian edition by Musson is uncommon and especially so in dustjacket. Only six copies found on WorldCat. Very Good in Very Good dustjacket, chip at upper front panel, stain at lower spine area (only noticeable at verso).
