Lowe, who may have bar tended at the Hoffman House is presumed to have created the variant of the Gibson Cocktail in which bitters are replaced by three dashes of Angostura, with half the cognac and an addition of barspoon of gum. This revised Canadian edition by Musson is uncommon and especially so in dustjacket. No copies of this 1952 printing found on WorldCat. Near Fine in Very Good dustjacket.
