Very uncommon novel set on Blackwell’s Island Hospital (currently Roosevelt Island) and Newport. Included themes of alcoholism among the upper classes. Wright 3968. Good, firmly bound volume, some small chips at spine and front panel, chipped along top rear panel and with an inch of loss at lower rear fore-edge corner.
