The Haddon Hall Beverage Service Manual With a Brief Explanation of our Cocktails, Mixed Drinks, etc., including prices. Atlantic City, New Jersey: The Haddon Hall Hotel, [1933].

First Edition. Original stapled mimeograph pages, stapled at top edge, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, 16 pages. Fabulous cocktail recipe artifact, being the drink service manual for employees of the Haddon Hall hotel in Atlantic City. Presumably from the 1930's, with drinks priced mostly at 50 cents, but could be pre-Prohibition as the stenographer 'C. H. Dunk' who wrote the introductory page is found in an article about the Haddon Hall hotel in a 1912 issue of 'New York Hotel Record'. Includes a thin carbon paper sheet laid in titled: 'New Cocktails' and includes such drinks as Panama Fizz, Gin Mint Sangaree, and Bobby Burns. Signature of 'A. Wiese' at top front sheet, presumably an early waiter or bartender at the Haddon. Very Good, some modest wear.
