This copy with two letters laid in, one handwritten and mostly a thank you letter, but also a three page typed letter which includes discussion of his book being made into a movie, a libel suit he's dealing with and other interesting subjects. Also includes a complimentary receipt from Greenberg Publisher (who would publish the American edition of this title) for Mr. Josiah H. Penniman (also the addressee of the letters), an author and also a person of importance at the University of Pennsylvania which has his papers. Very Good, front endpaper removed, in nearly Very Good dustjacket, soiling to panels, few edge chips. Letters worn and nicked at edges.
