Circus Parade. London: Alfred A. Knopf, 1928.
First Edition in presumably first issue dustjacket that has been stamped 3/6 at spine, lower front flap clipped, which presumably had the original 7/6 price. Examination of the verso of the jacket reveals evidence of the 3/6 price being stamped, not printed. No addition printings at copyright page. Autobiographical novel of American vagabond, pugilist, and writer, laying 'bare the period of his life when he suffered and triumphed with the bizarre characters of an itinerant troupe' of circus performers. An uncommon labor themed novel. Near Fine in Very Good dustjacket.
