First Edition. Collection of sixteen true spy stories from the First World War as told by Zimmer to Burke Boyce. Before the war, Zimmer was a Hollywood attorney and agent for film actors. After the war, Zimmer had a wide audience for his spy story radio show K-7. The 1937 black and white motion-picture Special Agent K-7 was based on Zimmer's stories and was directed by Bernard B. Ray and starred Walter McGrail, Donald Reed, and Queenie Smith. Very Good-Near Fine in Very Good plus dustjacket with shallow chipping to spine ends and flap corners, light cup stain at front panel, small abrasion at spine.
