Perhaps Fitch's most famous play and one dealing with the ballet including some crime elements, two characters of the play being a detective and police officer. Originally produced at the Walnut Street Theatre starring Elizabeth Kennedy and Theodore Babcock. This copy boldly signed by the star at title page: "Compliments Of Elizabeth Kennedy". Basis for the 1916 black and white silent film directed by Fred E. Wright and starring Anna Murdock and Richard Travers. A Scarce fragile play. Very Good, some minor wear and creases, cm chip at corner of rear wrap, small paper chip at top spine end, cm paper chip at lower spine end.
