This copy using the copyright page plate from the English publisher's popular edition. It can be deduced from the dustjacket copy that Traver's books, which were already published in England, were rushed to the presses here in America. In the case of The Dippers it appears they used the English plates, forgoing their usual First Edition statement at copyright page.
