The story is told in letters from the dog, Major, to his girl friend, Dixie, in which he details his experiences in the mythical motion picture colony and the stars he finds there. Found in Anthony Slide's The Hollywood Novel. Martin was a prolific Hollywood film writer having contributed to 78 films. An uncommon title. Near Fine in fragile thin-paper dustjacket, with few inch closed tear at lower front panel, several cm deep chips along top edge. .
