Kimono. New York: Macaulay Co., (1924).

Early Reprint Edition. An early novel to tackle Asian and Anglo inter-racial marriages, in this case between an English naval officer and a Japanese orphan. Kimono was Paris's first novel and one that also tackled the institution of Yoshiwara, Japan's official houses of prostitution. Fantastic dustjacket art of sophisticated yet scantily clad Japanese women. Very Good but for contemporary glamour magazine cut-outs pasted to front end papers, title, copyright, and contents page, in Very Good dustjacket, three inch closed tear at lower front panel, shallow chips at top spine end.
