First Edition. Novel of divorce that "deals not with abnormal souls but with plain people, business men, mothers, in a crisis such as might and does occur everyday." Newspaper clipping adhered to front pastedown reveals that Don Juan was writing in order to compel Lewisohn's wife to sue for divorce as the book is based on their own marriage. A very scarce title. Near Fine but for newspaper clipping and contemporary owner's address stamp at front endpaper and half-title, in Very Good but surface rubbed dustjacket, shallow edge chipping. Item #23367
