1. Count of Morion or, Woman's Revenge. New York: Dick and Fitzgerald, [1862].
Early or First American Edition. Tall octavo, modern 1/4 leather with marbled boards. An obscure title by Dumas, if it actually is by him, the scant references to this title on the internet suggest it may have been actually written by Frederic Soulie, and indeed his name appears on the first page of text. There is a reference to this title in a newspaper from 1855, so the date of 1862 (offered by a researcher) may also be in doubt. The same researcher notes a copy of the book from 1847. In any event, a rather uncommon title. Near Fine, pages age toned as expected. Item #601882
