First Edition. Illustrated with scenes from the play authored by John W. Harding and from which this book was novelized from. The theatrical production enjoyed a long Broadway run during the year of 1906 and served as the basis for two black and white silent films. The 1915 version produced by The Jesse L. Lasky Co and a 1925 version starring Margaret Livingston. Near Fine in Very Good plus dustjacket with few narrow spine end chips, tiny chip and closed tear at lower front panel, few short closed tears and mild edge wear. A very attractive copy in scarce early jacket.
