First Edition. Illustrated with scenes from the play authored by John W. Harding and from which this book was novelized from. The theatrical production enjoyed a long Broadway run during the year of 1906 and served as the basis for two black and white silent films. The 1915 version produced by The Jesse L. Lasky Co and a 1925 version starring Margaret Livingston. Very Good with front hinge cracked in Good plus dustjacket with soiling and foxing to panels, light chipping to spine ends, and 4 inch in length chip near rear flap edge.
