Romance set in both New Orleans and Atlantic City, where “two old New Orleans families, between which a certain inherited hostility existed, are thrown together for a time, with the result that the young lawyer who is destined to be the head of one falls in love with the beautiful Creole daughter of the other.” Near Fine but for first few leaves with small stain at fore edge, mild cocking, in a Very Good dustjacket, 2 cm deep chip to top edge of front panel, shallow chipping to spine ends and rear edges, slightly faded and modestly soiled.
