First Edition stated. Novel of "three young vaudevillians whom chance throws together" trying to make it on Broadway. When two of the trio fall in love with the third "a harpist, a born trouper, and a wonderful girl" trouble ensues. One of only two novels by the wife and co-author of DuBose Heyward whom together created 'Porgy'. Very Good, ownership inscription at front pastedown, "25 c" inked at front endpaper, area of modest discoloration at front cover likely due to some exposure to moisture, in nearly Very Good dustjacket, some soiling and scuffing, chipped at spine ends and flap corners.
