Early Printing with publisher's colophon at title page. Listed in Hubin as a marginal mystery, Cullum's novel deals with the unsolved mystery of the abandoned ship, Marie Celeste. No doubt Cullum's story was used without being credited as a basis for the 1935 film, The Mystery of the Marie Celeste, which was directed by Denison Clift and starred Bela Lugosi. Nice colorful dustjacket art by Tilvert. Near Fine in Very Good dustjacket, chipping at spine ends, short closed tears and modest wear.
