First Edition. Quarto, original red cloth with a gold paint palate at front cover, original illustrated dustjacket. Attractive large volume illustrated with plates, some in color, others tinted and in black and white of the art represented at the Salon. This copy has amazingly retained its original illustrated dustjacket, which of course given its size and vintage is an unlikely survivor. Near Fine, some foxing to fore-edge of pages and at preliminaries, in Very Good dustjacket, shallow chipping to edges, quarter sized chip at lower rear panel, few closed tears.
