Nepeese, the Willow, a lovely French-Indian girl; Pierrot, a trapper; and sinister Bush McTaggart, are the humans who in their own tragic drama shape the wolf-dog's destiny". Basis for the 1918 Vitagraph Company silent film starring Nell Shipman and the 1925 silent film by the same company directed by David Smith and starring Anita Stewart and Donald Keith. Scarce in dustjacket. Near Fine but for mild cocking, in nearly Very Good dustjacket, two inch tear at lower spine end, some shallow edge chips and signs of wear.
