Her daring spirit and her wild desire for adventure terrify the more sedate members of her family Illustrated by the author. A very scarce title. A contemporary review states: This latest flapper romance is written in the first person by the heroine, a high school girl who starts off on the first page to find out the true meaning of love. Propounding the burning question to the various members of her family she meets with poor returns. Authoress of Four Dramas this searchingly serious young person accused by her family of Flirting and Vamping espouses the cause of all great Vampires herself induced. She decides to become so Wild that she would make a drunken Indian look as tame as an angle worm on a sunny pavement. Madly in love with her older sister's beau many funny situations are the outcome of her temporarily broken heart. Twenty five comic illustrations accompany the text. Says the sixteen year old flapper 'Like Cleopatra I have dared to live, perhaps the tale will cause chuckles not blushes as its title might suggest'. Very Good in Very Good fragile dustjacket, some shallow edge chips, closed tear at lower front panel (as well as a small internal chip).
