Early Pirated or Reprint Edition. Original decorative cloth and publisher's dustjacket. An uncommon 19th Century dustjacket for a Jules Verne title, this copy with actual printed date of 1887 at title page as well as at the back dustjacket panel. Maxwell is one of the more obscure reprint houses from the period. Near Fine in Good dustjacket, some noticeable staining to spine and rear panel, chipped at spine ends and flap corners.
