First Edition. Collection of nine short stories by Cobb. A scarce early title in dustjacket and one of only four Bleiler titles by Cobb. The author was Kentucky born but moved to New York City for a job with the Evening Sun. During the First World War Cobb represented the Saturday Evening Post as a war correspondent and received the Chevalier Legion of Honor from the French government at the conclusion of the war. Near Fine copy with some discoloration to cloth at rear spine edge and foredge, in Very Good plus dustjacket with chipping at lower spine end, few small nicks to top spine end, some wear to rear flap fold.
