Basis for the 1934 motion picture film directed by Louis King and starring Tom Brown and Anita Louise. Erskine writes from first hand experience using his own Columbia College as the setting for this novel. Before becoming a writer, Erskine served during the First World War as chairman of the Army Education Commission and received the Distinguished Service Medal. He also toured with the New York Symphony Orchestra as a piano soloist and became chairman of the administrative committee of the Juilliard School of Music. Great unsigned dustjacket art.
